This paper investigates the impact of children's education on parents' dietary nutrient intake in rural China. Using data from the 2011 China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS), the study finds a significant positive correlation between higher children's education levels and improved parental food consumption, nutrient intake, and diet quality. The authors conclude that improving rural education is an effective strategy to enhance the dietary nutrient intake of the rural population and recommend further development of rural basic education, strengthening compulsory education coverage, and integrating nutrition education into the national education system.
