Abstract
This research paper investigates broadly neutralizing antibodies (bnAbs) against Omicron and other SARS-CoV-2 variants, induced by vaccination with an adenovirus-vectored COVID-19 vaccine (Ad5-nCoV). The study identifies a monoclonal antibody (mAb), ZWD12, which shows potent and broad neutralization against multiple variants, including Omicron. Cryo-electron microscopy was used to determine the ZWD12 epitope, revealing its interaction with the spike protein. The findings suggest potential for developing broadly therapeutic mAb drugs and inform the design of broad-spectrum vaccines.
