Abstract
This study presents two randomized controlled trials (RCTs) investigating the impact of behavioral interventions on COVID-19 vaccine uptake. Text-based reminders, designed to make vaccination salient and easy, were sent to participants one and eight days after vaccine eligibility notification. The first reminder significantly boosted appointment and vaccination rates, with a greater effect when emphasizing vaccine ownership. Adding a video-based intervention did not further increase uptake. Findings highlight the effectiveness of simple reminders and inducing feelings of ownership in promoting vaccination.
