Abstract
This paper presents novel perovskite solar cell-powered all-in-one gel electrochromic devices for automatic light adjustment. Two alkynyl-containing viologen derivatives are synthesized as electrochromic materials. The devices, exhibiting high stability (up to 70,000 cycles), serve as energy storage and smart windows, while the perovskite solar cell (up to 18.3% power conversion efficiency) acts as a light detector and power harvester. The combined device automatically switches between bleached and colored states to adjust light absorption in real-time, showing potential for intelligent windows.
