Abstract
This cross-sectional study investigated the association between obesity and education level among elderly Taipei citizens (≥65 years, or ≥55 years for aborigines) between 2013 and 2015 using data from the elderly health examination program. Logistic regression analysis revealed a higher odds of obesity among men and women with ≤12 years of education compared to those with ≥16 years, with a stronger trend observed in women. Aborigines showed significantly higher obesity rates. Income status did not significantly influence obesity.
