This national multicenter cohort study in China investigated the association between antenatal corticosteroids (ACS) and postnatal growth outcomes in very preterm infants (VPIs). The study found that ACS, particularly complete ACS, was associated with improved enteral nutrition, faster weight growth, less decline in weight Z-scores, and a lower incidence of extrauterine growth restriction (EUGR). These findings highlight the importance of increasing ACS administration rates and implementing standardized nutrition guidelines for VPIs.
