Abstract
This study presents a green synthesis method for Ni/ZnO nanocomposite, characterized by XRD, SEM, FT-IR, UV-Vis, EDX, HRTEM, and XPS. The nanocomposite demonstrated potent antibacterial activity against E. coli, S. aureus, and P. aeruginosa, with enhanced efficacy under light irradiation. Antioxidant activity was confirmed by DPPH scavenging, and photocatalytic performance showed remarkable MB degradation attributed to size, surface area, and morphology. The nanocomposite shows promise for biological applications and environmental remediation.
