Abstract
This article analyzes history teachers' assessments of various resources used in teaching. A quantitative, non-experimental design with a Likert scale questionnaire was used, surveying 332 Spanish primary and secondary education history teachers. Results indicate that teachers favor resources promoting greater student involvement and active methodologies. Heritage, artistic productions, and museums were most valued, while video games, textbooks, and mobile device applications were least valued. The study concludes that heritage is a growing educational resource and teachers are shifting away from more traditional methods.
