Abstract
This paper introduces CryoAlign, a novel method for accurate global and local alignment of cryo-EM density maps. CryoAlign leverages local density feature descriptors to capture spatial structural similarities, enabling fast and robust alignment parameter estimation. Extensive evaluations demonstrate its superiority over existing methods in terms of accuracy and speed.
