Abstract
This study presents a novel methodology to evaluate South Korea's digital diplomacy within U.S. government web domains, focusing on the Korea-Japan Dokdo/Takeshima territorial dispute. Using web archives and a composite analysis of web impact studies and semantic network analysis, the research reveals Japan's digital public diplomacy is more prominent on U.S. government websites, particularly through the U.S. Embassy in Japan's online media. This highlights the need for South Korea to adopt similar strategies.
