Abstract
This paper explores collaboration among scientists of different disciplines and between scientists and local communities in Burkina Faso to foster a common understanding of Target Malaria's work on genetic technologies to modify mosquitoes for malaria elimination. It focuses on the co-construction of meaning of key scientific concepts, incorporating community feedback to inform both the research and the collaboration itself.
