This work presents a fully integrated, chip-scale sensor for real-time monitoring of molecular dynamics in liquid solutions. Utilizing quantum cascade technology, the device combines emitter, sensing section, and detector on a single chip, enabling in situ measurements of microliter samples. The sensor's performance is demonstrated by analyzing temperature-induced conformational changes in bovine serum albumin, showing excellent linearity, a wide concentration range (0.075 mg ml⁻¹ to 92 mg ml⁻¹), and significantly higher absorbance compared to bulky reference systems.
