Abstract
This study investigates the impact of China's aging population on its labor market using Conversation Analysis. The findings indicate that the language behavior of older workers is influenced by age, social status, and emotional pressure. Older adults often maintain informal status, adhere to strict etiquette, self-victimize, and express vulnerability. The research suggests implications for social work and further research on older people's labor market participation.
