Abstract

This paper presents a multifunctional conducting polymer-based smart bandage for wound theranostics. It integrates pH sensing, pH-compensated uric acid (UA) biosensing, and on-demand antibiotic release using polyaniline, poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT), and polypyrrole (PPy). Electrical stimulation triggers ciprofloxacin release, enabling remote wound monitoring and targeted treatment.
