Abstract
This paper presents a conceptual model for managing the risks associated with fake news (FN) in digital communities. The model, developed using Design Science Research and ArchiMate modeling language, aims to help law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders understand and mitigate the impact of FN. A systematic literature review informed the model's development, defining key concepts related to FN and digital risk. The model's applicability is demonstrated using a case study from the Central European Digital Media Observatory (CEDMO) archive.
