📝 About
The Earth Journalism Network (EJN), in partnership with the Thai Journalist Club and Data Hatch, is organizing a four-day virtual training program. This workshop aims to strengthen journalists' ability to report on the role of businesses in Thailand’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
🎯 Benefits
Participants of the workshop will:
- Gain a better understanding of the role of businesses in Thailand’s transition to net-zero emissions.
- Explore four main climate interventions increasingly used in Thailand:
- Renewable energy, including electric vehicles.
- Carbon credit markets.
- ESG due diligence.
- Green financial products.
- Learn from case studies of investigations into these climate interventions conducted by EJN-supported journalists and partner newsrooms in Thailand and other countries.
- Acquire practical insights and reporting tools to develop stronger, evidence-based stories on the role of the private sector and the solutions they offer to support the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Following the workshop, participants will be invited to pitch story ideas for a story grant award to support in-depth reporting on the role of businesses in addressing net-zero emissions.
