The UNESCO/Poland Co-Sponsored Fellowships in Archaeology and Conservation aim to promote human resource capacities and enhance international understanding and friendship among nations. The Polish National Commission for UNESCO and the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznaล, Poland, are offering 7 fellowships in the field of Archaeology and Conservation.
Selected fellows will undertake a 9-month archaeological internship at the Faculty of Archaeology of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznaล, Poland, from 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027.

Facilities Offered by Polish Authorities:
- Free tuition for 9 months and access to university facilities based on local regulations.
- Monthly allowance based on the last academic degree obtained:
- PLN 2,200 for Master of Arts (M.A).
- PLN 1,800 for Bachelor of Arts (B.A).
(1 USD โ 4 PLN) - This allowance covers living expenses and accommodation in Poland.
- One-time special allowance upon arrival in Poland:
- PLN 2,200 for M.A.
- PLN 1,800 for B.A.
- Covers cultural, historical, and touristic visits, conferences, workshops, and seminars related to studies.
Facilities Offered by UNESCO:
- International travel expenses (most direct, economical route) to and from Poland.
- Health insurance for fellowship beneficiaries declared medically fit.
- UNESCO will subscribe to the health insurance policy and cover the cost.
- One-time special pocket allowance of USD 120.
Eligibility Criteria โ
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a B.A. or M.A. degree, preferably in Archaeology or Conservation.
- Be proficient in English (reading and writing).
- Be no older than 40 years.

Prepare Your Application:
Include the following supporting documents:- UNESCO fellowships application form (all 4 pages completed in English using capital letters).
- A copy of the applicant's identity photo.

- Certified copies (in English) of Bachelorโs or Masterโs degrees obtained.
- UNESCO certificate of language knowledge (if English is not the mother tongue).
- Two letters of recommendation confirming qualifications.
