📖 About the Program

The Supporting Women in Business Grants Program aims to address barriers for women in starting or growing a micro or small business. It seeks to increase women’s skills and confidence to support them in achieving their business goals.

Funding is available for projects that deliver:

• Training
• Mentoring
• Networking skills and opportunities
• Assistance to access finance
• Business development support

Projects are tailored to a nominated Women NSW focus community and should respond to the community’s specific needs and circumstances.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Entity Requirements
   Must be a legally constituted Australian-based entity, such as:

   • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Organisations
   • Not-for-profit or community organisations
   • Industry associations, Chambers of Commerce, or social enterprises

2. Insurance
   Must hold public liability insurance of at least $10 million.

3. Budget Submission
   Must submit a clear budget outlining eligible and non-eligible expenses.
