📖 About Stiftung Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition

The Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition (CEC) is designed to empower young entrepreneurs to develop ideas for a more peaceful and sustainable world. Participants are encouraged to create ideas with social impact and actively contribute to one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), addressing key social, economic, environmental, and health challenges of our time.

🎁 Benefits of Stiftung Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition

While there are no cash prizes, scholarships, or financial resources offered, participants gain:

• Knowledge, contacts, and a business plan through the Entrepreneurial Design (provided it is completed conscientiously).
• An official certificate from Stiftung Entrepreneurship upon completion of the Entrepreneurship courses and placement in the competition.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the competition, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Open to young entrepreneurs worldwide, aged 13 and up.
• Submit an idea that addresses one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• Entries must include an innovative solution or proposal for a business addressing the SDGs. The idea may be in the conception, planning, or start-up phase but must not yet have resulted in a start-up.
• Submissions must be in English, as the competition will be held in English.

📅 Application Date and Process

The competition runs in three phases:

1. Idea Submission & Entrepreneurial Design: Submit a short pitch, have it reviewed against the competition criteria, complete the courses, and fill out the Entrepreneurial Design Canvas (EDC).
2. Voting: All ideas are published, and participants can gather votes while supporting each other.
3. Jury Decision: The ten submissions with the most votes are evaluated by an expert jury, and the winners are selected.
