β Eligibility Criteria
Principal Applicant Requirements:
The Principal Applicant is responsible for the overall direction of the proposed activities, administrative responsibilities, and submission of the application. The eligibility requirements for the Principal Applicant are as follows:
- Residency: Must reside and work in Saskatchewan during the funding period.
- Trainee Status: Cannot be a trainee in relation to the proposed project.
- Policy Adherence: Must agree to adhere to all SHRF funding policies and annual reporting requirements.
- Successful applicants must sign a Notice of Acceptance prior to fund release.
- Non-compliance with terms and conditions will result in ineligibility for future SHRF funding.
- Organizational Support: Must hold a position that enables them to promote evidence-based health knowledge and practices for public benefit. Eligible organizations include:
- Post-secondary institutions with a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SHRF.
- Registered charities.
- Non-profit organizations.
Additional Requirements for Non-MOU Institutions:
If the Principal Applicantβs organization is not an MOU institution, they must provide:
- Organization banking information for payment processing.
- CRA registration number.
- Contact details for a financial office or bookkeeper to provide annual financial statements.
- Additional documentation about the organization, such as:
- Charitable status and grant experience.
- Governing documents (e.g., annual report, governance structure, certificate of incorporation).
