💰 Benefits of the Grant

The scheme provides structured financial support based on the scope and evaluation of the project. Key benefits include:

• Funding Structure:

  • Covers up to 75% of the total project cost.
  • A minimum of 25% must be arranged as a matching contribution by the applicant.

• Grant Limits:

  • Up to ₹5 lakh per project (standard approval).
  • Up to ₹20 lakh for exceptional, high-impact projects.
  • Approval is based on recommendations from an Expert Committee.

• Financial Requirement:

  • Applicants must demonstrate financial capacity to cover the remaining project cost.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the grant, applicant organizations must meet the following requirements:

1. Organizational Structure:

   • Voluntary organizations or NGOs must have a properly constituted managing body with clearly defined powers, duties, and responsibilities outlined in a written constitution.

2. Registration:

   • Organizations must register on the NGO Darpan Portal of NITI Aayog and obtain a Unique ID from the portal.
   • The Unique ID and PAN Number of the organization must be provided during the application process.

3. Matching Resources:

   • Organizations must arrange or plan matching resources for at least 25% of the project cost.

4. Facilities and Experience:

   • Organizations should have the necessary facilities, resources, personnel, and experience to execute the proposed event/project.

5. Past Experience:

   • Preference will be given to organizations with prior experience in holding similar functions.
