β Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the SURF program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Open to applicants from all countries.
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a bachelorβs degree program.
- Applicants must have completed at least one academic semester/quarter before the SURF application deadline.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0 or its equivalent is required.
- All participants must submit a final report to their supervisor.
- International applicants will need to apply for a J-1 Visa.
