The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program at Purdue University is an 11-week immersive research experience for undergraduate students. The program aims to encourage students to pursue advanced education and careers in research.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the SURF program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Open to applicants from all countries.
• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in a bachelor’s degree program.
• Applicants must have completed at least one academic semester/quarter before the SURF application deadline.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0 or its equivalent is required.
• All participants must submit a final report to their supervisor.
• International applicants will need to apply for a J-1 Visa.
