Established in 2014, the Oxford-Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships provide up to five full awards covering both the Master's and the MBA degrees. Scholars can pursue any of the 1+1 MBA partnering programmes and combine it with their MBA.

Recipients are exceptional individuals who demonstrate the potential and commitment to find sustainable solutions to large-scale challenges. Scholars benefit from a range of on-course activities, including:

✅ Eligibility Criteria

You will be considered in the following order of priority:

1. New applicants to the Oxford 1+1 MBA programme.

   • You must be admitted to both a 1+1 MBA partnering programme and the MBA before being considered for the scholarship.
   • Applicants on the waiting list will not be considered.

2. Applicants admitted to both a full-time one-year master’s course (not part of the official list of 1+1 MBA partnering programmes) and the MBA (as a separate application).

3. Current master's students who have been admitted to the MBA and were not considered for the scholarship in the previous year.

🏆 Selection Criteria

Candidates are evaluated based on:

• Academic achievement: Degree results, GMAT/GRE scores, university prizes, awards, and other academic accomplishments.
• Leadership potential: Demonstrated through experience and motivation.
• Personal character: Strong integrity and commitment.
• Career focus: Intention to address world-scale social challenges, either in an existing organisation or through the development of a new enterprise.
• Vision: Ability to achieve scalable and sustainable solutions to these challenges.
• Articulated goals: How the Oxford 1+1 MBA will help fulfil your objectives.

Applicants are advised to highlight these attributes in their 1+1 MBA application, scholarship essay, and interview answers.

📝 Application Process

To apply, you must:

1. Submit a complete application for both courses.
2. Upload the scholarship essay in the 'Funding' section of the 1+1 MBA programme application by the deadline.

Scholarship Essay Question:

Answer the following question in no more than 500 words:

• How do you intend to change the world, and what does this tell us about you as a person?

Deadlines:

• Apply by 7 January 2026 for the 1+1 MBA.
• Apply for your chosen Master's programme by its own deadline (either in December or January).

• Shortlisting: Planned for early April.
• Interviews: Expected in late April or early May.
