To qualify for the fellowship, applicants must:

  • Be early-career academics (professors, lecturers, fellows) or advanced graduate students (near completion of PhD or master’s thesis).
  • Alternatively, work as professionals in NGOs, international organizations, or institutions involved in multi-faith dialogue.
  • Have a strong interest in law, religion, and human rights (legal background not strictly required).
  • Be committed to academic publishing in English.
  • Submit a research and writing proposal relevant to law and religion.
  • Demonstrate oral fluency and academic writing ability in English (evaluated via application and Zoom interview).
  • Note: Undergraduate and JD students are not eligible.
