📖 About the Scholarship
The Master of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Human Rights and Sustainability (MAHRS) is an 18-month program designed for young scholars and professionals interested in studying International Law, Good Governance, and Sustainability Principles, Norms, and Standards, with a focus on the Central Asian Region.
This program is co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the OSCE Academy in Bishkek. Admission is highly competitive, with up to 20 students selected.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Educational Background:
- Successful completion of a four-year BA degree, a Specialist Diploma, or be in the final year of a BA program in fields such as social sciences, humanities, law, sociology, international relations, political science, or similar subjects.

Citizenship:
- Must be a citizen of one of the following countries:
- Afghanistan
- Kazakhstan
- Kyrgyzstan
- Mongolia
- Tajikistan
- Turkmenistan
- Uzbekistan
- Any other OSCE participating State
- Must be a citizen of one of the following countries:

Professional/Research Interest:
- Demonstrated interest in human rights, sustainability, and democratization in Central Asia.

Willingness to Travel:
- Must be willing to travel and relocate for several months to other countries to complete the program.

English Proficiency:
- Advanced level of English:
- IELTS: At least 6.5
- TOEFL: At least 90
