The National Geographic Society and The Climate Pledge will support a global community of Explorers, producing projects focused on climate resilience and solutions. These stories will inspire business leaders and policymakers to take action for a better world. This funding opportunity is open to both existing Explorers and those not yet part of the Explorer community.

- Applicants can request funding of up to $100,000.
- Early-career storytellers (with five years or less of experience) are encouraged to apply for up to $20,000.
- Projects can span up to two years, allowing for in-depth storytelling and meaningful impact.
✅ Grant Requirements
- Priority will be given to storytellers who:
- Have lived in or have significant experience working in the communities where their proposed stories are focused.
- Demonstrate established collaborative relationships with local organizations and stakeholders in these communities.
- Applicants must show a record of successful media projects and submit a portfolio (e.g., website) as part of their application packet.
