Challenge America: Fixed request of $10,000.
Other GAP applicants: Grants ranging from $10,000–$100,000.
Local Arts Agencies (subgranting projects): Grants ranging from $30,000–$150,000.
Requires a 1:1 cost share (cash or in-kind).

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Eligible Organizations:
- Nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) U.S. organizations.
- Units of state or local government.
- Federally recognized tribal communities or tribes.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have 5+ years of arts programming.
- Must have an operating budget of at least $20,000 in the previous fiscal year.
Ineligible Applicants:
- Individuals.
- Fiscal sponsors.
- For-profit enterprises.
- State or regional arts agencies.
Application Limit:
- Generally, only one application per organization per year is allowed.
