The MEI Security Fellowship Program aims to cultivate the next generation of leaders in Middle East security studies. It provides exceptional individuals with opportunities for:

• Duration: Yearlong, part-time professional development fellowship

  • Academia

In addition to gaining unique perspectives on leadership, policy debates, and decision-making, fellows will focus on building key writing and communication skills. Fellows with availability and interest may also contribute to articles posted on the MEI website.

✅ MEI Security Fellowship Program Requirements

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
• Age Range: Roughly between 25-40 years old.
• Professional Experience: At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Location: Based in the greater Washington, DC region.
• Commitment: Able to participate in the majority of sessions.
