The ICF Foundation Scholarship supports individuals committed to equity and impact, ready to develop as coaches, and willing to volunteer their time to support communities through coaching. The ICF Foundation is dedicated to ensuring coaching is accessible to underrepresented populations while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

🎁 Benefits of the Scholarship

Recipients of the ICF Foundation Scholarship will receive the following benefits:

• Tuition Scholarship (in-kind) for a Level-1 (60+ hours) ICF-accredited Coaching Education program (delivered virtually).
• Complimentary one-year ICF membership.
• Access to a mentoring coach during the Level-1 accredited training program.
• Application fee waived for the ACC credential.
• Note: Recipients are responsible for any incidental costs outside of the pre-determined program costs.
• Recipients will be paired with a coaching education program and cannot choose their program.
• This tuition scholarship is in-kind and cannot be used as a grant or exchanged for funds.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:

• Demonstrate a genuine interest in pursuing a professional coaching career.
• Commit to volunteering as a coach in an Ignite Project within one year of receiving their ACC credential, contributing to social impact.
• Be able to complete the application and the coaching program in English.
• Have a reliable computer and internet connection (the program is entirely virtual).
• Be available to complete the coaching education between January and December 2026.
• Be prepared to apply for the ACC credential no later than December 2027.

📅 Application Process

To apply, complete and submit the 2026 ICF Foundation Scholarship Application Form by June 30, 2025, 5:00 PM (New York time).

Steps:

1. Complete the application form in English.
2. Finalists will be required to submit a 2-5 minute video answering additional questions for review.
3. If selected, recipients will be assigned to a coaching education program (no choice of program is allowed).
4. The scholarship is a tuition scholarship and cannot be used as a grant or reimbursement for previous coaching education costs.
