π About the Summer School
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is organizing a two-week virtual Summer School from 16 to 25 June 2026. This program aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the international legal frameworks governing the safe, secure, and peaceful uses of nuclear energy. It is part of the IAEA's broader efforts to expand education in the field.

Participants of the Summer School will:
- Attend all sessions of the IAEA-GW Summer School.
- Actively engage in discussions, case studies, and complete assigned work prior to and during the course.
- Receive a certificate of completion upon meeting attendance and participation requirements.
β Eligibility Criteria
The Summer School is open to students from IAEA Member States who meet one of the following criteria:
- Law students with a bachelorβs degree, with priority given to fields such as:
- Nuclear law
- International public law
- Energy law
- Environmental law
- Other relevant areas of law
- Students with a bachelorβs degree in related fields such as engineering, physics, etc.
- Students enrolled in an accredited postgraduate university program.
- Students proficient in English.
