The program is designed for leaders of early-stage nonprofits doing innovative and scalable work. Eligibility requirements include:

  1. Early Stage:

    • Nonprofit must be early enough to benefit from mentorship and funding.
    • Must have a US 501(c)(3), have submitted paperwork for the 501(c)(3), or operate under fiscal sponsorship.
  2. Innovative:

    • Nonprofit must address an existing problem with a new and impactful idea. Examples include:
      • Applying an existing solution to a population previously without access
      • Offering a new service or technology
  3. Scalable:

    • Service delivery model that becomes more cost-effective as the service area expands. Examples include:
      • Branching, franchising, strategic partnerships, or distributing best practices
    • Growth plans should align with SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound).
