📖 About the Scholarship

The Generation Google Scholarship for women in computer science was established to support students pursuing computer science degrees, helping them excel in technology and become leaders in the field.

Selected students will receive $2,500 USD for the 2025-2026 academic year. The scholarship will be awarded based on the strength of each candidate’s demonstrated leadership, academic performance, and financial need.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply, applicants must:

• Be currently enrolled as a full-time second or third-year undergraduate student at an accredited university in Asia Pacific for the 2024-2025 academic year.
• Intend to continue pursuing a full-time Bachelor's program at an accredited university in Asia Pacific for the 2025-2026 academic year.
• Be studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Demonstrate leadership.
• Have a strong academic record.
• Demonstrate financial need.
• Note: Children of Google employees are NOT eligible to apply.

📝 Application Process

Applicants will need to complete an online application that includes:

1. General background information (e.g., contact information and details about your current and intended universities).
2. Resume/CV.
3. Two letters of recommendation.
4. Academic transcripts from your current institution.
5. Responses to short-answer essay questions.

Required Documents for Upload:

• PDF copy of your resume.
• PDF copy of your current or most recent transcript (unofficial is acceptable).

Important Dates:

• Application Deadline: Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 11:59 PM U.S. Pacific Time or when 1,250 eligible applications are received.
• Recommendation Letters Deadline: Monday, August 18, 2025, at 11:59 PM U.S. Pacific Time.

Note: You can submit your application before your recommendation letters are received, as long as the required information has been entered into the application.
