FUJIFILM GFX Challenge Grant Program 2025

🌟 About the Program

The FUJIFILM GFX Challenge Grant Program, initiated in 2021, is designed to support and nurture emerging and promising content creators. The program provides 5 Global Grant Awards and 10 Regional Grant Awards to help creatives bring their imaging projects to life.

Participants will have the opportunity to create content that holds significant meaning to them while gaining experience using FUJIFILM GFX System gear. Projects can be submitted as still photography or in a movie format.

At the conclusion of the production period in May 2026, the final content of award recipients will be showcased on the fujifilm-x.com website. Additionally, a series of exhibitions is planned to showcase the work in various countries.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Open to individuals who are residents of the countries/regions listed in the "Entry Submission" section on the program website.
• Open to both amateur and professional photographers/videographers.
• Not open to employees or officers of FUJIFILM and its subsidiaries.

📋 Evaluation Criteria

Project proposals will be reviewed based on the following equally weighted criteria (20% each):

1. Relevance of the project to the program objectives and adherence to submission criteria.
2. Appropriateness of the project story to be told using GFX System products.
3. Creativity and uniqueness of the described project.
4. Achievability/Execution (feasibility, budget size, and likelihood of project completion).
5. Applicant background and photography/videography experience and abilities.

📝 Application Process

To apply, prepare the following three pieces of information and combine them into a single PDF document:

1. Preformatted Cover Letter

   • Download the preformatted cover letter template here.
   • This should serve as the cover page of your proposal, providing a clear and concise overview of your project.

2. Project Proposal

   • Include the following details:
     • Descriptive plan: What are you trying to do?
     • Objectives: What are you trying to achieve?
     • Evaluation and outcome measures: How will you measure success?
     • Communications: How will your project be communicated to the public?
     • Fujifilm partnership: How will you utilize the mentoring and resources offered by FUJIFILM?
     • Schedule: What is your project design and timeline?
     • Budget: How will you allocate the grant award?

3. Portfolio

   • Showcase your past works and accomplishments to help the reviewers understand your background and expertise.

Submission Guidelines

• The submission must be a single PDF document.
• The file must include the Preformatted Cover Letter, Project Proposal, and Portfolio.
• File size must be under 10MB.
• The document must be written in English, but it can be accompanied by another language of your choice.
• Language proficiency is not part of the judging criteria.
