Digital Citizenship Poster & Short Film Competition
The Council of Europe invites designers, artists, and creatives to participate in the Digital Citizenship Poster and Short Film Competition. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to building an inclusive and democratic digital future through creativity and storytelling.
π About the Competition
In todayβs rapidly evolving digital world, challenges such as disinformation, cyberbullying, online hate speech, and threats to privacy and digital security are becoming increasingly prevalent. These issues affect not only individuals but also the health of our democracies.
This competition is part of the European Year of Digital Citizenship Education 2025 and aims to raise awareness about digital citizenship through powerful visuals and storytelling. Whether youβre a professional designer, a student, or a creative enthusiast, this is your chance to explore and express what digital citizenship means to you.
Participants are invited to:
- Design a poster (70Γ100 cm)
- Create a short film (1β5 minutes, MP4)
Your work should explore one or more of the 10 key domains of digital citizenship, such as privacy, media literacy, or online participation, and inspire others to become responsible and empowered digital citizens.

β Eligibility Criteria
To participate, you must meet the following requirements:
- Open to all professional or amateur designers and filmmakers
- Nationals or residents of the 46 Council of Europe member states, plus the Holy See and Kazakhstan
- Up to three entries per category (poster and/or video)
- All entries must be original, unpublished, and not submitted to any other competition
- Participation is free of charge
