🏆 Award Categories
The awards are divided into four categories:
1. Business and Innovation Award
Recognizes alumni who contribute to innovative ideas, solutions, or business opportunities with growth potential.
- Areas of Work: Entrepreneurship, business, technology, finance, etc.
2. Culture, Creativity and Sport Award
Honors alumni who have excelled in arts, culture, or sports, showcasing their creativity and influence.
- Areas of Work: Arts, design, humanities, traditional media, music, video, TV, sports, online content, and audio-visual media creation (e.g., blogging, vlogging, social media).
3. Science and Sustainability Award
Acknowledges alumni who have distinguished themselves in science and sustainability, demonstrating the impact of their achievements.
- Areas of Work: Climate action, clean energy, medicine, sustainable cities, engineering, industry, and construction.
4. Social Action Award
Celebrates alumni who have made exceptional contributions to social change and improving lives.
- Areas of Work: Education, peace and justice, reducing inequality, poverty, hunger, and broader humanitarian or social good initiatives.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the awards, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Study Period: Alumni must have studied within the last 15 years (i.e., 2010–2025).
- Institution: Must have studied at an officially recognized body or received a recognized award from a UK higher education institution.
- Degree Level: Must have studied at degree level or above (band 9 or higher on the UK ENIC band framework).
- Study Location:
- Studied at a UK university in the UK for a minimum of one term or semester, OR
- Received a full UK degree-level qualification (or higher) awarded by a recognized UK HEI in their home country (Transnational Education – TNE/long distance).
- Professional Short Courses: Eligible only if the course was at degree level (or above) and offered by a recognized UK institution in the UK.
- Ineligible: Post-doctoral researchers are not eligible.
