✅ Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the competition, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Works must be first editions published in 2025 or 2026.
- English-language editions are required (except for Mountain Image submissions).
- Submissions are open worldwide.
- Mountain Article submissions must:
- Be a maximum of 7,000 words.
- Be published in 2025 or 2026.
- Be submitted as a PDF.
- New editions of previously published titles are eligible only if they have not been entered before.
- Not Eligible:
- Books primarily written for children or young adults.
- Posthumous works.
- Works by Banff Centre staff or current jury members.
