✅ Eligibility Criteria

Healthcare Venture Requirements

Home Grown Solution:

• Operate mainly or solely in Africa (preference for companies operating across countries).
• Employ mostly local staff in the markets in which you are active.
• Have strong African representation in your leadership.

Growth or Mature Stage Venture:

• Be registered as a for-profit entity.
• Express ambition and potential to scale beyond your current size.
• Demonstrate clear market traction and a sizable customer base.
• Growth stage: Proven product-market fit and scaling operations.
• Mature stage: Proven viability of core offering at scale, ideally across multiple markets.

Strengthen Africa's Health System:

• Manufacture medical consumables or devices on the continent.
• Provide healthcare services to patients (diagnostic, treatment, etc.).
• Offer technology solutions to strengthen health access or delivery.

Climate Venture Requirements

Home Grown Solution:

• Operate mainly or solely in Africa (preference for companies operating across countries).
• Employ mostly local staff in the markets in which you are active.
• Have strong African representation in your leadership.

Early, Growth, or Mature Stage Venture:

• Be registered as a for-profit entity.
• Express ambition and potential to scale beyond your current size.
• Demonstrate clear market traction and a sizable customer base.
• Early stage: Proving product-market fit and/or viability of core offering.
• Growth stage: Proven product-market fit and scaling operations.
• Mature stage: Proven viability of core offering at scale, ideally across multiple markets.

Strengthen Africa's Climate Resilience:

• Manufacture or distribute clean energy products or services.
• Provide sustainable mobility or transport solutions.
• Manage waste or develop circular economy solutions.
• Develop or implement nature-based solutions.

📅 Application Date and Process

• Deadline: 19 May 2026
• After submission, shortlisted companies will need to provide references of investors and customers, along with additional high-level financial information (up to March/April 2026).
• Final decisions will be made towards the end of May 2026.
• Acceleration support definition and delivery will occur between June and September 2026.
