Objectives:

ACC’s Organization Grants aim to:

Eligible Grant Expenses:

  • Airfare: Economy class only.

  • Mandatory travel health insurance:
    • Coverage of at least $100,000 USD per accident or illness.
    • $25,000 USD for repatriation expenses.
    • $50,000 USD for medical evacuation.
  • Interpretation services, if necessary.
  • Costs related to research, cultural immersion, and exchange objectives.

Ineligible Grant Expenses:

  • First-class or business-class airfare (exceptions for medical-based exemptions).
  • Production-related expenses (e.g., technical equipment, staffing, publication costs).
  • Capital expenses or equipment purchases.
  • Expenses for individuals not part of the proposal.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Organizations must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a nonprofit organization, government-affiliated or government-sponsored arts/cultural institution, or academic/higher education institution.
  2. Be legally registered and based in one of ACC’s eligible countries, territories, or regions.
  3. Have at least five years of artistic and/or cultural programming.

Activity Lead and Participant Eligibility:

  • Primary Contact: Manages the application process.
  • Activity Lead: Executes grant activities in the destination country/region.
  • Activity Participants: Support and/or take part in the grant activities.

Grant Activity Travel:

  • Supports 1 to 6 months of travel for the activity lead and/or participants.
  • Eligible destinations include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China (Mainland), East Timor, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau SAR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan ROC, Thailand, United States, and Vietnam.

  • Application Submission: November 19, 2025, at 9:59 AM EST.
  • Letters of Recommendation: November 26, 2025, at 9:59 AM EST.

Applications must be submitted through GoApply, ACC’s application platform.

  • Starting October 1, 2025, previous and new users can log in or create an account on GoApply.
  • Applicants must complete an eligibility quiz to proceed with the application.

📌 Additional Information

Grant Travel Dates and Minimum Duration:

  • All ACC-funded travel must occur within the grant period: August 1, 2026 – December 31, 2027.
  • Travel to the U.S. must include at least 30 consecutive days.
  • Travel to or within Asia must include at least 30 cumulative days.

Visa Requirements:

  • Applicants must research visa requirements and ensure compliance before applying.
  • ACC does not sponsor visas; securing visas is the responsibility of the Organization Grantee.

Payment Schedule:

  • Advance Payment: $3,000 USD after signing the grant agreement and submitting required forms.
  • Remaining grant amount issued after submission of travel documentation.
