This program provides funding for equipment essential for creating, displaying, promoting, and documenting Northern Territory (NT) artistsโ€™ work. Examples of eligible equipment include:

  • Kilns
  • Printing presses
  • Sound systems
  • Gallery fittings
  • Storage tools

Priority is given to:

  • Remote and Very Remote arts organisations
  • Aboriginal-owned art centres

  • Maximum grant: Up to $10,000 per financial year
  • Applicants must demonstrate additional funding sources to cover full project costs
  • Not applicable for consumables (e.g., paint, staples, paper) or vehicles
  • Any equipment fixed to a facility requires written building owner approval
  • All expenditure must comply with the Buy Local Plan

โœ… Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be an arts organisation based in the Northern Territory
  • Be an Aboriginal-owned art centre
  • Organisations receiving less than $400,000 per year through the Australia Council for the Arts (AGP)
