The University of Glasgow African Excellence Award is designed to recognize and support outstanding students from Africa. It provides an opportunity for students to pursue their academic goals and contribute to global development.

- Full tuition fee waiver for the duration of the postgraduate taught one-year Master's program.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the University of Glasgow African Excellence Award, applicants must:
- Demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to a UK 1st Class Honours.
- Hold an offer of a place for a postgraduate taught one-year Master's program for the September 2026 intake. (Note: An offer is not required to apply but will be needed for consideration during the interview process. Applicants should consider program application timelines.)
- Have International fee status.
- Be domiciled in Africa and hold a passport from one of the eligible countries.
- Demonstrate a clear career and/or development plan that will be supported by Master's level study (via the application form).
- Meet the UKVI living costs/financial requirement as an international student studying in the UK.
