The Building Resilience Against Climate and Environmental Shocks (BRACE) program is an intensive capacity development initiative by African Food Changemakers (AFC). It supports agripreneurs (SMEs) in the agribusiness landscape to:
- Understand how climate change impacts their businesses.
- Develop strategies to adapt and mitigate these impacts through climate-smart practices.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be aged 18–40 years.
- Be a citizen of an African country.
- Own or represent a registered business in Africa.
- Be an AgriSME owner/representative/decision-maker operating in the Crop Production or Animal Production sector as a producer, processor, marketer, aggregator, etc.
⏳ Time Commitment
Participants are expected to:
- Attend all weekly live interactive sessions scheduled for Thursday or Friday evenings across African time zones.
- Complete the self-paced online modules within 6 weeks.
- Submit all online course assignments and tasks.
- Dedicate a minimum of 4 hours per week to completing modules and assignments.
