âś… Eligibility Criteria

This grant is intended for private or public non-profit Spanish cultural venues that meet the following criteria:

  • Must have a permanent exhibition space (mobile venues are not eligible).
  • Eligible venues include:
    • Museums
    • Art centres
    • Artist-run spaces
    • Foundations
    • Festivals
    • Libraries (for authors of comics and children’s books)
  • The venue must be preparing an exhibition of an artist from the French artistic scene in Spain.

  • Application Deadline: 15 July, 2026
  • Applications must be submitted in English via ADAGP's application platform.
    • To apply, an account must be created on the platform.
  • The application file must include the following:
    1. Presentation of the Spanish cultural venue:
      • Status, contact details, artistic program, international impact, and press reviews (max. 2 pages).
    2. Presentation of the project:
      • Detailed description of the artistic project, event dates, key ideas, and objectives.
      • Include the exhibition curator’s statement of intent outlining their curatorial vision (PDF, max. 2 pages).
      • If the project involves a French partner organization, include a brief presentation (max. 10 lines).
    3. Commitment letter:
      • A letter from the Spanish venue agreeing to present an exhibition by an artist from the French art scene.
    4. CV(s) of the artist(s):
      • Include a link to each artist’s website or a portfolio of 10 works (max. 1 page).
    5. CV of the curator:
      • Include educational background, research experience, and full contact details (max. 1 page).
    6. Provisional budget:
      • A detailed and balanced budget showing project-specific costs (e.g., insurance, transport, copyright) and a financing plan (including the amount requested from ADAGP) (max. 1 page).
    7. Estimated schedule.
