✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must have completed their first year of PhD studies at the time of application.
• Majors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or a related area.
• Actively engaged in research as part of their PhD thesis.
• Enrolled as a full-time active PhD student during the 2026-2027 academic year (9 months).
• Must not graduate before May/June 2027.
• Available to complete an in-person summer internship prior to the fellowship year.
• Must not be an immediate family member of a current NVIDIA employee.
• The award will be administered through the student's university, and payment will be made to the university, not directly to the student.

📝 Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following:

Student Quality

• Letters of recommendation.
• Academic performance (GPA) and achievements.

Research Quality

• Research results to date.
• Research proposal for the fellowship.
• Publication track record.

Relevance to NVIDIA

• Connection to NVIDIA’s primary research domains.
• Potential influence on the design, performance, or use of future GPUs.

📄 Application Process

Required Documents:

1. Research summary/thesis proposal (up to 2 pages, plus bibliography).
2. Resume/Curriculum Vitae (CV) including contact information.
3. Professor nomination letters:
   • Minimum of 2 letters (must include one from the thesis advisor).
   • Maximum of 3 letters (can include non-professor recommendations).
4. Confirmation of availability for an in-person summer internship.

2. Upload the research summary, thesis proposal, and resume (CV).
