Founded in 2006, the Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Research Network is united by a shared interest in both disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches. This encompasses the various social sciences and bridges connections between the social, natural, and applied sciences. Our goal is to build an epistemic community that fosters linkages across disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries. As a Research Network, we are defined by our scope and concerns, motivated to develop strategies for action framed by our shared themes and tensions.
