Founded in 2010, the Sport & Society Research Network is centered around a shared interest in the cultural, political, and economic relationships of sport to society. Our goal is to build an epistemic community that fosters connections across disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries. As a Research Network, we are defined by our scope and concerns, motivated to develop strategies for action framed by our shared themes and tensions.
