Abstract
This research examines how the interactions of remote work time (RWT), knowledge sharing (KS), and knowledge hiding (KH) affect career development (CD) in China, using a yin-yang harmonizing framework. Data from Chinese manufacturing employees show an inverted U-shaped relationship between RWT and CD. The interaction of KS and KH significantly relates to CD, with RWT's positive impact on CD strongest when KS is high and KH is low. The study offers implications for managing flexible work arrangements and career challenges in volatile work environments.
