This study investigates COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy in the UK using a nationally representative survey. The results reveal that participants demonstrated greater willingness to take fictitious vaccines (attributed to US government programs and a defunct company) than real vaccines from Russia and China. Anxiety, rather than vaccine familiarity, emerged as the primary driver of hesitancy.
