Abstract
This article explores queer collective memory during the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK, drawing on video-based oral histories from Queer Britain's "Queer Pandemic" project. The study examines themes of isolation, timelessness, the pandemic's impact on LGBTQ+ communities, and the parallels drawn between COVID-19 and the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The researchers used virtual meeting software for interviews and qualitative software for analysis, focusing on how collective memory and shared experiences were expressed by self-identified LGBTQ+ individuals.
