This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of a large number of studies on historical policy analysis to understand the distribution and evolution of policy problems across fields and countries. The analysis reveals that policy analysis has gained significant traction in recent decades, encompassing multiple disciplines, predominantly medicine, environment, energy, and economics. Key concerns include human health, environmental pressures, energy consumption from economic growth and urbanization, and the resulting need for sustainable development. Differences in policy priorities among countries, such as developing nations facing greater environmental pressures versus developed nations focusing on health and economic transformation, are also explored. The findings offer insights for future international cooperation.
